Public Meeting for Sports Groups

Person on treadmillDo you care about sport in Boston? Are you involved in athletics, tennis, rowing, boxing, cycling or any other sporting activity and are a part of an organisation that promotes sport? If you are and you’ve answered yes to these two questions the Boston Physical Activity Network wants to hear from you. A public meeting will be held on Thursday, 11 December to elect a management group according to the draft constitution. The meeting starts at 7.30pm at The Haven Art Gallery, 2 South Square, Boston.

Tough Economic Climate

That’s the situation facing councillors as they look at early draft budget proposals which could see £1.8 million in savings, keeping the Council Tax rise low at 2.9% and proposals to invest in Geoff Moulder Leisure Centre which will reduce running costs.
