Teljän Kuljetus Oy (Inc.) is a private and family owned transportation company. It was established in 1972, when Matti Rosvall bought his first truck. The company has been operating in international transportation ever since, for its destinations of transportation were the Nordic countries at first. In 1973 Teljän Kuljetus Oy got its first thermo trailer and the area of operations covered Central and South Europe already in 1974. Domestic transports began in 1975.

The first domestic transports consist of farm produce: corn and fertilizers. From these products the company transferred in transporting other raw materials and finished goods of the industry. The transports of goods of wood industry come along in 1976, when transportation company Kuljetusliike P. Kytöoja Oy (is named by Teljä-Bulk Oy nowadays) was bought. Teljän Kuljetus had about 40 trucks in the end of 1970's.

In 1984 the tank transports of powder products began. Domestic parcelled freight and fixed-route transport began in 1986. In the end of 1980's the transportation capacity of Teljän Kuljetus had increased to 80 trucks. The transports of liquid products began in 1990. Teljän Kuljetus became a shareholder of transportation company Helsingin Rekkaterminaali Oy in 1991, which has supported the increase of domestic parcelled freight. Cemt-Trans Oy was established in 1992. Then an office to Lübeck, Germany was also established, which has supported the increase of the transports of Central and South Europe.

In 1996 Cemt-Trans established a subsidiary to St. Petersburg, Russia. It was named by Zao Cemt-Trans. Then started the transportation to Russia. Cemt-Trans bought transportation company Jyväskylän Kiitokuljetus Oy in 2000. This company, which keeps its own offices in Jyväskylä and Kuopio, is concentrated to the domestic parcelled freight. These days Cemt-Trans owns Teljä-Bulk also and these four companies formulate group, which is in a close cooperate to Teljän Kuljetus. Together these companies have 140 trucks at this moment.
Also, Teljän Kuljetus offers both domestic and international transport services. The main equipment consists of box trailers and tilt-bed trailers, but there are also equipments for transportations of liquid and powdery products.

The international transports can be specified to temperature regulated and other transports. The transports from Finland to Europe consist of mainly paper and plastic raw materials or they are parcelled freights. The import transports to Finland consist almost entirely of vegetable and fruit transports for the large wholesalers. Transports of powdery products are focused mainly on North Europe. The transports to East are on the whole export transportation, which is evenly divided between temperature regulated and other packed goods. They are loaded both in Finland and in other Europe.

In addition to the parcelled freight domestic transports are fixed-route and contract transports. Transportation products are the goods of wood industry: paper, cartons and chemical pulp as well as bulk products and liquids. In the beginning of 2003 the domestic parcelled freight area of transport companies Helsingin Rekkaterminaali Oy, DFDS Transport (Finland) Oy and Uudenmaan Pikakuljetus Oy were combined together to be under Helsingin Rekkaterminaali. This has already increased parcelled freight of Teljän Kuljetus. Helsingin Rekkaterminaali has terminals which Teljän Kuljetus keeps in the following towns of Finland: Kokemäki, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Turku, Iisalmi, Oulu and Rovaniemi.
